Inspired by the book 'The Gorgeous nothings' (New York, Ed. Jen Bervin and Marta Werner / New Directions, 2013) which contains the manuscript fragments of Emily Dickinson (1830-1886), the writing of this piece around six low notes focuses on resonance and the relationship between sound and body. The play of different parts of the finger enables a richness in timbre while dividing this short piece into two big breaths; one is on a single string Ab, the other is on two strings Ab and G#.

Inspirée par 'The Gorgeous nothings' (New York, Ed. Jen Bervin and Marta Werner / New Directions, 2013) contenant les fragments de manuscrits d’Emily Dickinson (1830-1886), cette pièce est structurée autour de six notes dans le grave. Elle se focalise sur la résonance et le rapport entre le son et le corps. Le jeu avec les différentes parties du doigt permet d’effectuer des richesses de timbres et divise cette courte pièce en deux grandes respirations — l’une sur une seule corde Lab, l'autre sur deux cordes Lab et Sol#.
