The other day I found a score for 2 pianos entitled “Go Back to the Note of Departure”, in a file from 1993.
I thus decided to make a new composition without changing a single note. There were very few of them in any case, which suited me perfectly.
So I called this piece 'Didascalie 2', remembering what I had done the year before: a piece for piano and viola called simply 'Didascalies'.
Simply Didascalies was to be played on two notes — one for piano and the same for viola. It has a very obsessive character. Veeeerrry obsesssssiiivvee!

J’ai donc décidé d’en faire une nouvelle composition sans en changer une note, d’ailleurs il en y en avait très peu. Ce qui m’arrangeait bien.
Alors j’ai appelé ça 'Didascalies 2' en souvenir de ce que j’ai fait l’année dernière : une pièce pour piano et alto qui s’appelait 'Didascalies' tout court. Didascalies tout court se jouait sur 2 notes, une pour piano et la même pour alto et avait un caractère obsessionnel. Très très obsessionnel !
