Vocal recording made with an omnidirectional lavalier microphone, then temporally inverted to disrupt any recognition of prosody. Sibilants (alveolar and post-alveolar fricatives) are isolated through spectral filtering. Dynamic accentuation is there to produce a noise-like texture resembling a synthetized cymbal. Harmonies emerge from algorithmic reverb (Reaktor-6, Space Master 2, Galaxyverb), generating artificial resonances and extended spectral tails. The final text, deliberately rendered less intelligible, shifts the listener’s focus toward acoustic phenomena, i.e. frequency density and transients.
Enregistrement vocal au microphone-cravate omnidirectionnel puis inversé temporellement afin de perturber la reconnaissance prosodique. Les sifflantes (fricatives alvéolaires et post-alvéolaires) sont isolées par filtrage spectral. Accentuation dynamique afin de produire une matière bruitiste proche d’une cymbale synthétique. Les harmonies émergent d’une réverbération algorithmique (Reaktor-6, Space Master 2, Galaxyverb), générant des résonances artificielles et des queues spectrales étendues. Le texte final, volontairement dégradé dans son intelligibilité, déplace l’écoute vers les phénomènes acoustiques : densité fréquentielle et transitoires.
